Are They Insured? Things to Know Before Choosing a Production Company

These days many people seem to believe there is little more to establishing a video production business than hanging a shingle over the door and setting up a website.  However, any experienced producer who has been around when something went terribly wrong knows better.  Any production where everyone makes it home safe and sound is a good thing.  But what if a light crashes down on someone’s head on the set?  What if something expensive gets damaged? Who is liable if a crew member has an accident on his way to the shoot with your equipment?
